DANCING WITH
THE CHILDREN DANCE
COMPETITION 2010 Dancing with the Children Dance Competiton 2010 is in full gear for this coming May 22, 2010 at the
Neighborhood Place/Ballroom suite. The entire City of San Antonio is invited to join us and cheer for wonderful work that
the children of the Westside have been able to achieve. The children have been practicing their dance routine and will be
ready to strutt their stuff. Loma Park Elementary, Lyndon
B. Johnson Elementary and Roosevelt Elementary children will performed a Swing and a Tango dance routine. The program concentrated on attendance, a Word of the day, physical wellness
and exercise and the professional dance instruction of the Swing and Tango dance were integral part of the curriculum. Thanks to the support of the LME- Local Management Entity: Family Service Association, City of San Antonio,
Edgewood Independent School District, Catholic Charities of San Antonio, Jack Lloyd's Ballroom Dance Academy and MarVelez
Productions. SCHOOL COMPETITION Dance Therapy is gearing up for this year's school

EL SHOW DE CRISTINA EN UNIVISION
Dance Therapy was invited to participate and dance
in El Show De Cristina in Univision, during a special taping at Eisenhauer Park on Saturday May 31,
2008. Dance Therapy's Wednesday Cultural Class will be closed on Wednesday August 13, 2008 due to Khakis for Children sponsored by Family Service Association. A special invitation has been sent to sponsors and students that have been participating in Dance Therapy to come and meet and have dinner with our Dance Ambassadors. The dinner will be sponsored and catered by Family Service Association from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Dance Therapy Office. Dance Therapy's Wednesday Cultural Class will resume the following week. COUNCILMAN RICHARD PEREZ On
October 5, 2005 the City of San Antonio signed a one year contract with a total buget of $16, 920.00 for "Dance Therapy"
to do the dance instructions in six nutrition centers: Harlandale, South San, Our Lady of Angels, St. Bonaventure, and St.
Vincent De Paul. Mil Gracias Councilman Richard
Perez for given us an opportunity to provide our senior community with a very special program like "Dance Therapy". Harlandale Civic Center Nutrition Center On October 14, 2005, District 4- Councilman Perez and
District 3- Councilman Gutierrez were present for the grand opening of Dance Therapy at this site. Mr. Henry Ross from the City of San Antonio was also present and danced his heart away! Univision Channel 41's Monica Navarro filmed this special event
for her news story. "Dance Therapy"
will be a special feature on Univision's "LO MEJOR DE LO NUESTRO" segment. WAL-MART
